Got this one from Santa for the daughter, she is 6.. She was extremely excited and used it all day.. She completed all the mixes that came with it. She cant get enough of playing with this.
Only down side you need to help with the baking of the cupcakes, the mix that comes with it needs to be microwaves and has a sticky uncooked consistency.. But if you bake regular cupcakes and use this to decorate it works well.. Alot of fun for Boy as well as Girls.. makes cooking fun for children..
educational too since the recipes are included and they have to read them to completed the cakes and icing. |
my child loves hers a year later

| I read all of the bad reviews last christmas, but my 4 year old really wanted one. I found it black friday for $10. Per the reviews the cupcakes really do not taste good, but what do we expect from a tablespoon of water and 30 seconds in the microwave? This is a toy not a pastry machine. Bottem line - she loves it and still plays with it a year later! Plus it looks really cute in herlittle pink kitchen. FYI - We found the cinamon cupcakes to be the least gross. |
Good gluten free option for kids

| My 7 year old daughter really enjoys using this and we have had no problems. The cakes are not great tasting, but not that bad either. You can't really expect a great tasting cake coming from a microwave and it also being a toy. It is all washable and the trick to having the icing come out correctly is to not add alot of water and to push down on the arm slowly. Overall, this was a great option for my daughter since she has Celiac Disease and can eat what she makes. |
